TR-25 Mechanical Trigger Tension Meter
Overview:
Maintain process and quality control in manufacturing and testing environments with the Tensitron TR tension meters. The Mechanical Trigger Tension Meter for Fine Wire & Filaments is used to check tensions on wire, yarn, fiber optics, film, tape, narrow fabrics, and flat materials. TR instruments provide measurable tension control for the major wire, textile, coil winding, EDM, fiber optic, and synthetic materials industries. For EDM wire, order TR-4000.
TR tension gauges are calibrated to one specific material for a direct tension reading. Digital instruments can be calibrated for up to ten different materials

MATERIAL |
TR meters are calibrated for a single material. For other materials, the meter will provide a repeatable reference, but not a direct tension reading. The standard calibration is a textile filament. For other materials, send Tensitron a 10-foot sample of your material and request a special calibration. |

ACCURACY |
With standard calibration, accuracy is +/-8% full-scale. Higher accuracy (up to +/- 2%) may be achieved with a special calibration for your material and tension range. |

DIAL |
TR meters have dial faces with black numbers for the first revolution of the pointer and red numbers for the second revolution. |
